To contribute for a more positive solution, I have here a poem that I have written a couple of years ago, it has saved my ass a couple of times too.

I usually do not present this poem to anyone, nor in public, because this is my asset in times when a relationship becomes blurry and nears the break up. It has often served as a way out of trouble for the mean time and kept the relationship going for some time longer.

AFRAID THAT THIS LOVE WILL FADE AWAY

I can’t hide that i still love you
i know
i’ve made you hurt
i hope that with this last poem of mine
you will realize
that i regret
the bad things i did to you

The love i have still shines
like light
my heart of pain
still beats your name
open you eyes, open your mind
i beg you to stay,
before this love will fade away..

I am afraid,
i know i’ve hurt you
look deep
inside your heart
i believe i’m there
to stay
say that you’ll be back today
BEFORE THIS LOVE WILL FADE AWAY..

My friends call it the poems of all poems, my very master piece. Though, I admit, it’s not the best of mine, but belongs to one of the most memorable. I wrote this way back when I was 1st year in high school, this is my 2nd (first english) poem I ever have had written. It was a project in my Filipino class which I wrote 15 minutes before the bell! And well, not quiet obvious that I made it in a hurry.

Hiling (Wish)

Simula sa araw na ito
Lahat ng mga bituin ay nagtitingin sa iyo
Nag-uulan ng kahit ano
Dahil sa labis na pagmamahal ko

Sana iyong tatanggapin
Ang pagmamahal na galling sa akin
Dahil alam ko’t alam mo na rin
Na ito lang ang aking tanging hiling

Subalit nagbaha ang mundo ng dugo, Dahil sa aking luha
Dahil ako ngayo’y nagdurusa
Pero nagbalik ang lahat sa dati
At nawala ang sakit sa’king labi

Ikaw ang tangi kong inspirasyon
Na magtagal ng bilyong henerasyon
Ang dagat ay puno ng malinis na tubig
Dahil sa ganda ng iyong pagibig

Ikaw ang nais makapiling ang nais mahalin
Kahit ayaw mo o gusto mo ikaw parin,
At alam ko na alam mo na
